The trip to Barahona was not just memorable, it was magical. To see Christ working through so many, in building the orphanage and and in sharing the Gospel, was life changing. I have done mission work before, but never saw myself doing foreign missions. Now God is taking me back in April of this year and hopefully bringing a team from my home church. I miss the people as I look back on pictures and I feel God calling me to action. Just as he did with Andrew and Peter as Jesus called for them to follow Him and they threw down their nets immediately and left. Andy Stanley said it best in a sermon where he said that sometimes we pray too much and hide behind it. Sometime we just have to get out of our chair and GO. This is what God has clearly called me to do and I am following as best I can. If you feel called or even have the slightest urge - take action - you will not regret it!

It was a great humanitarian mission. Honored to have been a part of it. An experience everyone should pursue.

Going with ROW to the DR was definitely added to one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Each person that contributed on our journey had their own original story of how Christ changed them, it was a joy learning about all the team members. Working on the orphanage was made into a fun experience thanks to music from the native helpers. Sharing my testimony had never been easier. God is good!

I have been on ROW mission trips before, one as recently as Thanksgiving week, and I must say that my life
will never be the same again. I have learned to share my love of God and to witness the joy of souls being
saved. We have built latrines and carried medicine to help the people in the Haitian refugee villages of the Dominican Republic, who had no sanitation, and this year we helped build an orphanage for 105 homeless little boys who are now sleeping on the streets of Barahona, Dominican Republic. Most of these are from Haiti and came here after the earthquake there killed all of their family. We are so blessed here in the United States and God has told us to go into the world and share His Word, and to use our minds and hands to help those who
so badly need it. ROW travels the rivers of the world doing just that. This video and song portray the calling
God has for each and every one of us.....and I pray that each and every one of you will heed the call.
