News/Updates

On October 11, 2008, ROW friends and supporters will gather for our annual fund-raising event and we will be honored to have Lt. General Jerry Boykin speak and minister to the group about his experiences and his passion for sharing the Word of God. You can learn more about his ministry here. There will be a precision drill team, color guard, and the ROWArt Gallery/Museum store. Snacks will be served. Tickets will be limited and purchase information can be obtained by emailing '3' or by calling 850-832-6377.

LTG (Ret) Jerry Boykin was one of the original members of the US Army's Delta Force. He was privileged to ultimately command these elite warriors in combat operations. Today he is an ordained minister with a passion for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and encouraging Christians to become Warriors in God's Kingdom.

A New Way To Support ROW!

Have you ever heard of Mission Fish

ROW has recently registered with MissionFish.org and our account is "Rivers Of THe World." Anyway, it is EBay's way of allowing seller's and buyer's to designate a certain percentage of all sales/purchases to go to a non-profit that they select. So, let's say for instance you sold your car on eBay for 10,000 and you selected "Rivers Of The World" as your charity of choice for 5% of the total- ROW would automatically receive $500.00!

More and more people are doing this because MissionFish.org verifies the tax exempt status for them and gives them their own acknowledgment verification and such for tax purposes.

If you've ever wanted to support ROW, next time select Rivers of the World as your non-profit of choice to donate a small percentage of your sale or purchase. You will be helping to grow ROW and other buyers will not only know that a certain percentage of their money is going to us, BUT it will help to make other people aware of ROW's presence around the world.

Consider giving just a small percentage of your item to ROW, ok, ok, make it a BIG percentage and help GROW ROW!

Rivers Of The World (ROW) is a not-for-profit Christian ministry that targets remote river basins. Our goal is to serve with people who live in these river basins and those we serve determine our projects. We ask them what makes up their greatest challenges and covenant with them to meet and overcome those challenges together

ROW emphasizes that it is their country, their village, their culture, but our problem. Our goal is to serve in an atmosphere of mutual concern and respect.

ROW projects run the gamut of human, physical and spiritual needs. Academics, research, education and medical/dental concerns go hand in hand with church planting, construction, evangelism and Bible distribution.

ROW is involved throughout the globe and volunteers are welcome to assist in the implementation of ROW mission projects.
