2007 ROW Review
In 2007, Rivers Of The World was able to reach and assist thousands of people! It could not have been done without God’s Grace, your prayers and assistance. We’d like to celebrate the following accomplishments with you and thank you for all you help ROW to do:
- New churches dedicated to the Lord in Vietnam, Brasil, and Belize - added the roof to
- San Estevan church.
- Over 2000 Megavoice solar powered digital Bibles distributed in 9 countries and 6 languages.
- ROW sent 450 volunteers to 9 countries: Congo, Dominican Republic, Belize, Brazil, Jamaica, Kenya, Vietnam and Cambodia.
- Built and re-built homes in Honduras and Vietnam.
- Started new work in the Dominican, Jamaica, and Las Marias, Honduras.
- 3 new devotion books in print.
- Expanded our radio audience across the South and in Kenya and Finland.
- Aired a 4 part TV special and will begin a series in January 2008.
- Distributed thousands of education packets, blankets and baby caps.
- Added new videos to our website.
- Vacation Bible School with thousands of children.
- Continued renovation to the school and church in Billy White, Belize.
- The Mama Mickie, our new boat, is launched and serving in Congo.
- Added orphanages in 3 countries to our care list.
- Started a new chapter of ROW called ROWKIDS. They have sponsored fourteen children from Belize to go to high school and four students to go to vocational school.
- Funded the building of three wells in Vietnam.
- Added three new boats in the Congo-Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego!
- Began negotiations for a new ship in Iquitos, Peru.
- Continued optical work in Boliva.
- Had special interests teams that climbed Mt. Kilimanaro in Tanzania and two bikers that traveled the length and width of Belize sharing Christ and solar powered Bibles.
