Brazil Trip Report - June 13-21, 2009
ByWe made a trip to the Brazilian Amazon with ROW. It was an amazing experience. God worked in miraculous ways on this trip. The ROW team and Presbyterian Church of Manaus were spectacular. I have never met such a caring, affectionate people who shine their light for Jesus in the way that these do.
In a country where I did not know the culture or the language, I felt completely comfortable. The sense of belonging was unmatched elsewhere. When you are in the center of God’s will and Jesus shines through your life, this is the emotion one feels. There were dozens of lives saved, medical care was given, and the group grew close as a whole and closer to Jesus. There is no experience other than letting Jesus shine through you in the service to others. The morning devotional with Pastor Eddie was amazing, and a great start to each day. This is an experience I will always treasure.

We had an incredible mission trip last week! The ship’s crew,
translators, villages and the people–all such a blessing to work with. We are talking and praying about scheduling a trip for June 2010. We would love to go on the Negro River again–or wherever we are needed for a medical/VBS/work trip.
Thanks so much. We praise God for ROW and the Presbyterian Church in
Manaus–for making a work trip like this possible.
Blessings,

We had a great mission trip and our youth got to experience and see lots. Pastor Pedro and Michael were wonderful hosts and took good care of us! We went to a beautiful beach on Friday and had lots of fun before returning on Saturday morning.
Thanks again for your help!
Take care!
