Named “Scout” in honor of the Boy Scouts, Master Bladesmith Walter Brend, has created the official ROW knife. After almost a year, Walter created one of his famous Model 2 knives for Ben Mathes to tote wherever he goes! Mr. Walter was also kind enough to feature Ben & ROW on his website in February of 2009.

Jim and I would like to just wish you well in all the missions you do. We have three sons, Andrew has a BA in music and is in Boston going to BU for a masters in scared music and theology, his wife has a master in piano and organ and teaches.
Our middle son James is planning to go overseas and do an internship with gdgm, before going to Duke. He will graduate from Arkansas State University in May with an English degree and a minor in regelouis studies. And our youngest Chris is in his 2 year at ASU he is also going into minstery also..
