In February, the World Water Relief team accompanied 25 medical professionals on an annual mission trip to the Dominican Republic. With assistance from the Stratford Rotary of Winston-Salem NC, and Rotary International, they installed a new water filtration system in Batey 7 to provide clean water to this 2,500 person rural village – the first free, clean water the bateyeros ever had.
The next system is being delivered this week to Missionary Flights International for installation at the next Batey.Â
