John The Carpenter Who Loved To Fish Kits

Ben’s friend had a brother who loved to fish. His name was John and he was a carpenter. Unfortunately, John passed away a while back, but his sister suggested a unique way to honor John’s memory and his love of fishing.

Men and women who love to fish will understand the idea immediately: “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for life!”

And so was born our newest project:

John The Carpenter Who Loved To Fish Kits!

Here’s how it works, put together basic fishing tackle along with a Christian Tract or message and bag it all up and send it to Rivers Of The World. ROW then will distribute the fishing kits to families around the globe, spreading God’s message of making us fishers of men and helping ROW feed the hungry at the same time.

Here’s some idea of what you’ll need to create a JTC Fish Kit:

  • Zip Loc Baggie
  • Fish Hooks Of Various Sizes
  • A Few Steel Leaders
  • Lead Weights of Various Sizes
  • Bobbers
  • 10-12 Pound Test Line
  • Gospel Track

Bundle your kits up and ship them to ROW at:

PMB 64
6625 Hwy. 53 East #410
Dawsonville, Ga. 30534

Finally, send pictures of your men’s, youth or other group packaging the kits to wiz@row.org along with a write up of your event and we’ll post it here on ROW.org!

Help us honor John by helping others!
