Mattresses For Congo
Mattresses for Congo has purchased and begun to deliver the mattresses! All 375 mattresses have now been shipped via air cargo to Kananga, where the vinyl covers are being placed on the mattresses prior to their delivery. Ten mattresses were delivered to the Butoke orphanage on Friday, December 7. Another 100 mattresses are slated to go to IMCK/Good Shepherd Hospital and 25 to PAX Hospital early this week, and then the remaining mattresses will be delivered to Luebo, Bulape, Moma and Mboi, all before Christmas!
But your help is still needed. We have raised a total of $46,720.00 in only six months, but we still need to raise $3,280.00 by Christmas to meet our goal of $50,000.00and complete this project. Any amount at all can be put to good use in reaching our goal.
