Wes began his involvement with ROW as a student at Hampden-Sydney College, and began leading trips with ROW upon his graduation.  Now as an Assistant Dean of Students at Hampden-Sydney College, Wes continues to serve both ROW and the College by leading trips and collaborating on new ROW projects.  With years if experience leading and being part of ROW teams to Central America, Wes is both an accomplished ROW Trustee and trip leader.

Wes has also played an active role in the creation of ROW's new youth program; LEAP (Leadership, Exploration, & Adventure Program).  As a seasoned counselor from other camps and programs, as well as being a certified Wilderness First Responder, Wes has offered a wide range of skills and expertise in developing curriculums, recruiting participants, and serving as a staff member for LEAP.

Wes has lived up and down the East Coast, but currently resides in Farmville, Virginia. He also travels the area talking to groups about ROW and getting more people involved with ROW programs.  If you would like to contact Wes about his availability to speak to your group, please email him at wes@row.org to set something up!
