Act of Worship

Published by kclack at 11:13 am under Congo, Serving, Worship

Tomorrow is going to be an amazing day and I am just so excited. My wife, Mickie, and I are traveling to Kinshasa in the Congo for a very specific reason. We are about to launch our newest and largest ship ever the Mama Mickie.

The Mama Mickie is half-inch steel and she will push 500 tons up the Congo River and 800 tons down the river. This ship will enable us to reach 1,600 miles of the Congo River from Kinshasa to Lusambo. We will be able to treat a variety of medical conditions such as typhoid, TB, malaria, river blindness, as well as providing much needed immunizations.

As Christians, we know that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forevermore. However, He calls His people to explore new ways to serve Him and His kingdom. The Mama Mickie will help us to reach countless of thousands of people for Jesus Christ.

On Sundays, we gather in church and offer up worship unto our Lord. Did you know that we are called to worship Him every day, in all that we do? Let us follow Paul’s instructions in Romans 12:1,

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God?this is your spiritual act of worship.”

With each new sunrise the Lord blesses you with, I encourage you to focus upon ways you can serve Him in word and deed. In so doing, you will be worshipping Christ and bringing forth a pleasing sacrifice unto Him.
