He then took the can and gathered more dirty water and poured it over his head so he could take a bath.

No matter how often I hear people say, “do you know I think the Lord is calling me to ministry,” I never grow tired of it. I just finished being a keynote speaker at a mission’s conference here in Georgia. After the conference, my new friend, Mark, came up to me and said, “We’ve got to go eat lunch and we’ve got to do it right now.”

No one really noticed Lolita because she was just the housekeeper. Oh, the family was grateful for Lolita, but they never really paid much attention to this dear woman. That was until the family was pinned down in the middle of a battle during a horrible civil war.

One of the favorite television shows of folks here at Rivers of the World (ROW) is “Everybody Loves Raymond,” featuring lead characters Raymond Romano and two-time Emmy award winner Patricia Heaton. Ms. Heaton recently did a wonderful thing in support of ROW.

Within the first week of this new year, I will be in four different countries. It is hard to imagine but during that first week, I will visit two countries in the Middle East, I will arrive home to a country that I call home, the United States, and then I will pack my things and head to the exciting work of Rivers of the World (ROW) in the Dominican Republic.

The vast world in which we live in is actually quite small when you think about it. How could the tsunami in Asia, the earthquake in Pakistan and Hurricane Katrina affect Rivers of the World (ROW) in Africa?
