God allows us to have glimpses of heaven here on earth. We experience the intensity of love that exists in a marriage, we enjoy the immense bond that is present between a parent and a child and we have a chance to embrace the unbelievable love of God. All these experiences, and many more that we have in this life, pale in comparison to what we will enjoy in heaven with our Lord and Maker.
Christ’s love for His people has endured from the beginning of time and we are assured that His love will remain throughout eternity.
Do you long to see America set free from the bondage of sin that prevails in our society? Come before the Lord daily and do battle on your knees and soon those strongholds will be demolished, one by one until Christ returns for His people.
God can give to us a steadfast heart when our world has been turned upside down. We can have mighty faith that stares down our foes, such as fear, discouragement and worry. All we have need of is found in His Word. Our job is to merely trust and believe.
Instead of complaining the next time you encounter thorns instead of roses in your life, praise Him for considering you worthy enough to have your faith be tested.
It takes little thought to tell someone in need that you will pray for them. Christ’s love for us should compel us to love others with the same level of compassion. His mercy extended to us should stir our hearts to the place of being merciful unto others.
