Don’t Lose Heart

The scene was horrific. A sugarcane truck was heading down the mountains of Honduras when the driver lost control and the truck flipped. The accident resulted in several people losing their lives and one man losing the ability to use his legs.

Little Is Much in Him

It is the little things that mean so much, isn’t it? I am convinced that it is not the extravagant, grand efforts we make that are so compelling nor have the greatest impact. Instead, it is a kind touch, it is a pat on the back, a gentle word of encouragement, a “God bless you,” and a simple prayer said for a friend in need.

Now don’t anyone tell my wife, Mickie, because I have her convinced that I cannot use a hammer and nails, a saw or a drill. I have been banned from repair duties in our home. My father always taught me that duct tape and bubble gum could fix about anything!
