Each time you stop along life’s road and act as a Good Samaritan to someone in need, you are assured that God will protect you and bless you. Go forth today and continue the legacy of Christ by loving and serving others as the Master did, which was in direct obedience to His Father.
If we profess to be a Christian and are insensitive toward someone, that person will instinctively question the character of God based upon our actions. Likewise, if we give food to the poor, clothe the needy and provide medicine to the sick, these people will see God as loving, kind and compassionate. Examine your words and actions today and decide if they are a direct reflection of the personality of Christ.
I pray that the Lord gives you gentle reminders today that we have one moment in time and we are only a breath away from taking our last.
