There should come a point in our walk with the Lord that we no longer follow Him simply out of duty and obligation, as a servant would his master. Instead, we follow Christ out of our love for Him, knowing that He loves us so much that He considers us as friends.
How will people know the saving grace of God unless we, who are the salt and light of the world, share the incredible gift we have been given?
Too often we confuse our wants with our needs. Greed is simply wanting those things we do not possess. Do you spend more time complaining about what you don’t have instead of thanking God for what you do possess?
Just like the disciples, we, as followers of Christ, can tap into the power of the Holy Spirit. This power enables us to have boldness and courage to witness for Christ. The Holy Spirit fills us with confidence in the authority we have through Jesus.
Ask the Lord to reveal to you the unique talents He has placed within you and then get out there and serve and bring honor and glory to Him.
