When you pray, ask the Lord precisely what you desire, expect Him to answer according to His will and then praise Him when the answer is brought forth.
Too often we focus upon what we are lacking instead of being content with what Christ has given us and taking that and multiplying it for His honor and glory.
Instead of complaining the next time you encounter thorns instead of roses in your life, praise Him for considering you worthy enough to have your faith be tested.
It takes little thought to tell someone in need that you will pray for them. Christ’s love for us should compel us to love others with the same level of compassion. His mercy extended to us should stir our hearts to the place of being merciful unto others.
How will our children be able to withstand the storms of life if they are not taught to put their hope, faith and trust in Jesus? Each day teach your child about Christ through your words, deeds and actions.
