Do you recall where you were 11 years ago? I know that’s tough because we’re talking about 1998! Some of you reading this may not have even been born! I certainly was and so was my friend, Silvia.

I am sure you would agree that there is just nothing like waiting for the phone to ring. You’re waiting for someone to call you back, you’re waiting for that special person to call and ask you out on a date, you’re waiting for the doctor’s office to call with results…the scenarios are endless. On one particular day, Teresa noticed a man who came forward to be treated whose leg was horribly infected. When this man arrived at the clinic the team had already run low on medicine, but they were overflowing with the power of prayer.

How does it make you feel to attend a sporting event and have someone do a less than honorable job of performing our national anthem, The Star-Spangled Banner? I don’t know about you, but that really insults me because I love my country.

During my travels around the world, I have encountered an array of religions from Christianity, Catholicism, and Buddhism to even Voodooism, recognized as an official religion in Haiti in 2003.

Picture this…you are rushed to a hospital following an accident and upon arrival the doctor determines you need a pint of blood, but there is no blood available to save your life. This scenario rarely exists in the United States where numerous people donate blood each day to save the lives of countless people.
