Sharing the Burden

Published by kclack under Love, Prayer, Qatar

So many of Rivers of the World’s (ROW) faithful followers have been extremely kind recently and I want to thank all of you. We have been overwhelmed by expressions of love, prayer and concern for my wife, Mickie, who was recently diagnosed with cancer.

Help Is a Prayer Away

Published by kclack under Danger, Nicaragua, Prayer

On my recent trip to Nicaragua the carburetor on the boat we were riding in fell apart. To make matters worse, after we fixed that problem we then ran out of fuel. So here we are stuck on the Kukra River in the deep jungles of Nicaragua, it is getting dark and the animals are now coming to life. It quickly became time to figure out how to get out of that predicament.

One with Him

Published by kclack under Family, Prayer

Think back for a moment to your days in high school. Do you remember homecoming games? This was an exciting time filled with musical selections played by the bands, cheerleaders doing their routines with pom poms and sometimes even parades commemorating the event.

Lifting You Up

Published by kclack under Friends, Prayer

You might not believe this but I am now up to 127 bug bites! I got each one of those bites while I was in Monkey Point, Nicaragua recently. I am just scratching myself like crazy, but, I am used to it!

Intercede

Published by kclack under Congo, Friends, Prayer

Distressing news about a friend is much more difficult to accept when you have a long history with that friend. For years you have heard me talk about my friend, former General Adolphe Onusumba, who was one of the rebel leaders in the recent civil war in the Congo. We were friends throughout the civil war.

Stay Connected

Oh, you will get a kick out of this! I just looked at my calendar and I realized that during the next two weeks I have appointments to see three different physicians. As if that isn’t enough, I also have an appointment with a dentist.

Entrust All to Him
