Enter His Courts With Praise

Published by kclack at 9:26 pm under Church, Congo, Worship

One of my most favorite words is twasakadila. It is a Tshiluba word that means thank you. It comes from a term that expresses buying a bag of beans in the marketplace and asking somebody to put a little more on top.

I recently returned home from Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. While there, I worked at the orphanage that faithful supporters of Rivers of the World (ROW) helped us build over the last two years. I also helped plan the building of a library for the children. My goal is to “put a little bit more on top.” I have an idea to construct the library inside a brand new chapel. If we decide to do this, I will need your help.

Would you consider partnering with ROW to build a chapel so the 250 children at our school and orphanage can have a place to worship? These precious children will have an opportunity to be fed spiritually in the chapel and mentally in the library.

A new chapel will enable the children to learn about their Creator and discover how He loves each of His dear children. Take a moment today to read Psalm 100:3-5, which states:

“Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.”

Let’s join together to make this new chapel and library a reality for these children in Kinshasa so they can have a place to sing praises unto the Lord and learn of His great love, which they can then pass down to future generations.
