Establish Thy Work
LZX calling Berlin…LZX calling Berlin. I’ve got the yoyo. I’ve got the string. The laundry is in the washing machine! I am speaking to you today in code. There have been many times in history that radios have been used to broadcast a code that ultimately influences the outcome of an invasion, that turns the tide of a war or results in setting people free.
Today let me give you a couple code words to live by. It’s time. That is the code word…it’s time. Anytime you hear me say, “it’s time,” it means it is time for you to lead someone to Christ. It is time for you to pray for folks who serve the Lord around the world. It is time for you to donate to Rivers of the World to further the kingdom of God.
Remember, dear Christian, life is fleeting…just a vapor in the wind. We are here but a season, and a brief one at that. We cannot sit back idly any longer and we cannot continue to straddle the fence. We must firmly make up our mind to serve Christ with all our heart, mind, soul and body.
As you start your day, seek the Lord and ask Him what it is you should do for Him today. Make Psalm 90:17 your personal prayer today. His word says:
“May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands.”
Surrender your will, your time, your hopes and dreams and your very life unto Him today so that His perfect will may be accomplished in your life and in the lives of those you encounter today. It is time to pray, to give and to go, in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
