Identify With Christ

[ 0 ] April 2, 2006 |

Do you remember how the sign of the fish was used to identify Christians in ancient times? Today it seems like it’s not very popular to be a Christian. In some of the countries I serve you can go to jail for being a believer. In other countries around the world, death is even a sentence served to those who follow Christ.

I think it is time, now remember that phrase, it is time for Christians to unite and create a new way to identify ourselves. With your left hand take your index finger and your middle finger and point it to the left of your body. That is exactly like the hands of a clock pointing to the time 3:16. Do you get it?

Christians, let us start a new movement to identify ourselves, to align our thoughts, words and deeds with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Now take those two fingers, point to the left of your body and if somebody points them back that means they’re a believer and you’re a believer and you both have a common bond in Jesus Christ.

The Word of God in 3:16 (KJV) says:

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

It is time, it is 3:16 and it is time for us to stand together as one and share the good news that God so love the world.
