Life Changing Word
In just a few days, I will be traveling to Brazil where Rivers of the World (ROW) staff and volunteers will be boarding our ship, Zany Silva III, and heading out of Manaus. From Manaus, we will be working our way down the Amazon River stopping to build a church and taking part in other construction projects, conducting Vacation Bible School and medical clinics, and most importantly, sharing the Gospel of Christ.
On this trip, I have a surprise for Heyde Marques, our staff director in Brazil. In my back pocket, I have an iPod we bought for her because ROW can now be found on iTunes. Heyde will be able to download ROW while in Brazil just like our friends here in the States.
On iTunes, a person can now go to “rowradio” or perform a search for Rivers of the World. You can now carry an iPod with you wherever you go and access ROW. In these last days, it is important for us to communicate the Word of God by every means available to us.
We can be assured that as we speak forth His words, it will make an impact on many lives from now until eternity. We are promised in Isaiah 55:11 (NKJV):
“…So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
Let us be faithful today to use every means we have to let others know about Jesus Christ, whether through written words, spoken words or through the vast array of technology we have at our disposal.
