No Standing Still
The holidays are over and it is now January, time to go back to school, to work and for me, it means it is time to get back on the road. I have already scheduled trips for this year in the United States and abroad. I would sure like to be listed on your church calendar if I’m not already!
An important part of my job is traveling to churches and sharing the exciting things that God is doing around the world through Rivers of the World (ROW). I cannot think of a better way to do this except in person so feel free to contact us at 3@row.org.
Let’s get together this year and celebrate the continuing work of the Lord that is being done in Vietnam, Honduras, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and everywhere in between. My message today is the same as it was last year and every year before. That message states that Jesus is Lord and He can use any of us to make a difference for Him in this world. We have a lot to accomplish this year so let’s get busy!
As Christians, we are either moving forward with Christ or we are moving backward away from Christ. There is no way a person can grow in Christ and have an impact upon others for Him by standing still. In John 9:4, Jesus provides important instructions prior to healing a man who was born blind:
“As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work.”
Christ brought sight both physically and spiritually to the blind man. As His disciples, we are commissioned to go into all the world and do likewise. There is much work left to do for the Kingdom so let’s get out there this year and make a difference.
