Servant of God
I have wonderful news to share with everyone! Rivers of the World (ROW) just added a new staff member who also happens to be one of my best friends, Dr. Chris Price.
Chris and I were embedded together with our military troops in Iraq, we spent four or five years in the midst of the war in the Congo in Africa and together we dealt with tense political situations in Nicaragua that involved the country of Iran.
I can say unequivocally that Chris is one of the best preachers I have ever heard. He is motivational, academic, intelligent, spiritual and very uplifting. When Chris preaches, he delivers God’s Word in such a powerful way that I kinda feel like John the Baptist who said he wasn’t even worthy to tie the sandals on Jesus’ feet.
Retired from his position as senior pastor at St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church in Dunwoody, Ga., Chris is available to travel to your church to share God’s Word. He will also take the time to give you an update on all that ROW is doing both at home and abroad.
When I listen to Chris preach it reminds me of what the Apostle Paul proclaimed in 1 Corinthians 9:16:
“Yet when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, for I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!”
God has uniquely equipped all of His children to serve Him and His people. For Chris, it is preaching. For others it may be serving overseas as a missionary, tending children in the church nursery, teaching a Sunday school class, being an effective witness at work or ministering to older folks at assisted living facilities. Let me encourage you today to be a faithful, obedient and loving servant of God.
