Share Christ With Everyone
Dick Blakemore of Noblesville, Ind., God bless you! Dick, who looks a lot like Santa Claus on a bad day, reminded us of the necessity of sharing the Gospel with everyone. We were on the beach in Central America handing out Gospel tracts to all the Hispanic folks. As the people walked by, we handed them the tracts saying, “Here’s the Word of God” in their native language.
Dick came up and asked, “Can I invite some folks to dinner?” We said, “Sure, who is it?” Dick then told us he had met two kids, one from France and one from Belgium, and he told them the Gospel story. He asked if they would like to eat dinner with us and said, “And they just may!”
Here we were in the middle of doing missionary work when Dick remembered the Gospel is to be shared with everyone in the world. Today, I encourage you to share the Gospel with everyone you meet.
In Luke 3:18 it says:
“And with many other words John exhorted the people and preached the good news to them.”
John the Baptist prepared the way for Jesus Christ. So, too are we to prepare the way for Christ’s return by sharing the good news of salvation with everyone.
At Rivers of the World (ROW), it is our mission to share the love of Christ in word and deed. To learn about the ways in which we witness to others, log onto www.row.org.
