Shine On
The annual Rivers of the World (ROW) board meeting was held recently and it was a lot of fun. Yeah, right! All kidding aside, it really was fun. All the ROW staff, board and others gathered for a dinner, we prayed and then we began discussing everything from finances to new ideas and exciting ways to continue serving the Lord around the world.
You will soon hear that our new theme is going to be, “Full Steam Ahead!” There is a great poster that will be released shortly and I would love to send you a copy. Just contact Ben, at ben@row.org, and I’ll send one!
We pitched the idea at the board meeting of letting all of our radio listeners and faithful followers of ROW choose the next river we serve. They will help us put together a team to go to wherever this river is located. We will explore and train together and we will be doing something that I dare say has not been done before in Christian ministry.
It is going to be so exciting! Stay tuned and keep a close eye on our web site for updates. It is full steam ahead for ROW!
Are you ready to make a difference for Christ in your community and possibly in the world? Jesus tells us in John 12:46:
“I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.”
When we accept Christ as our Savior, He lives within us and we become a bright light in this dark world. Let me encourage you to pray and ask the Lord how you can best partner with ROW. Perhaps He will lead you to pray for our ministry each day. Or, He might prompt you to support ROW financially. The Lord may even encourage you to travel with us to this yet named river to minister to people in need.
