Tools in the Master’s Hands

[ 0 ] June 12, 2011 |

I love the whole notion of being abundantly blessed. I can certainly attest to the fact that I am indeed blessed by God!

My garage is packed full of tools that will be used around the world this summer to share the love of Jesus. Packed in boxes are baby caps and blankets, solar digital Bibles and 150 pounds of solar DVD players. I have four huge crates of solar powered light bulbs and tucked in every corner of my garage are Rivers of the World (ROW) T-shirts, caps, mugs and our little devotional series, ROWvotions.

I can barely squeeze my car into my garage and I think that is awesome! All these blessings from God tucked away in my garage are tools He has provided in order for us to creatively minister to people in need in some of the most remote locations around the world. ROW has been abundantly blessed in order for us to in turn be a blessing to others.

In Hebrews 13:20, the author desires that Christians of that day would fully understand the resurrection power of Jesus that lies within each of them. My prayer for you is found in this verse, that God would:

“Equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”

No matter what your divine purpose is on earth, Christ has equipped you in a unique way to serve Him. We become powerful tools in the Master’s hands when we relinquish everything to Christ.
