Ben Mathes is in Paraguay, but his luggage isn’t! But why don’t we let Ben tell us about that?
My first day at the Lebanese School in Ciudad Del Este! What amazing students! They study in English, Arabic and Spanish!!! We had more fun learning about each other – hearing Dania’s song, watching the video sent by Strong Wall Academy… hate to say it but DELTA lost my luggage – and it was full of stuff from the students in North America – hey when you want to share peace and understanding with the world be careful who you trust with your luggage – get it????? Two days and DELTA cannot get a simple bag delivered to me?? Go figure!
Anyway – I’ll talk to ya tomorrow! God bless us all!

Trip Update:
My luggage finally arrived last night! It was such a joy to deliver the banner, scrapbook, calendars, candy, caps and shirts and books and a Bible to the school! The students here are sending letters and banners back to the students in the US with great messages like “peace and love, we all belong to the same world, let’s be friends, and friendship begins with a hello!”
The students got to Skype yesterday – the highlight of the trip for all of us! Realizing that the folks involved in this are REAL has given so much hope to the students here. They are excited about the possibilities of the future and have invited the students from the US to vice them here!
